Changing the layout of generated help files
Question asked by z 303 - 5/9/2018 at 5:32 PM
Unanswered
How can I make minor changes to the generated help files. I want the summary for method overloads to include "ref" in the method signature where it lists all overloads, instead of only inside the page for that exact overload. Currently 2 methods with the same parameter types, but one of them passes by ref both display with with the exact same signature in the list of all overloads.
The edition comparisons seem to indicate that GhostDoc Enterprise can facilitate this, but the only documentation seems to be on creating a project from scratch (or the sample project) for how the help file is laid out. But there does not seem to be a template for the existing help file generation layout in order to make minor changes.

Hi Zoe,

Yes, GhostDoc Enterprise allows customizing the look and feel of the generated help documentation.

Changing the appearance if often as simple as copying the preferred theme file and making edits in the CSS.

From what you are describing, it appears some theme XSLT changes required and I would have to pull some dev team resources to walk you through the theme changes.

I linked a support ticket to this post and will follow up in the ticket shortly.

Thanks!

Where would those xslt files be? I can't find any xslt files that appear related to GhostDoc on my drive.
