GhostDoc hangs Visual Studio on loading solution
Problem reported by Rutger Storm - 11/15/2018 at 12:11 AM
Known
When you have a solution with a Website as project type (the project type which doesn't have a .csproj but is added directly to the sln file). And that project uses NPM and has done a npm install then you are not able to load the solution anymore. It will hang on loading that project. When you make the node_modules map hidden then it is able to load it again.

GhostDoc seems to be the cause of this. If I disable the plugin (or don't have it installed) then Visual Studio loads the solution just fine.

Hi Rutger,

I notice the version you are using was released way before the VS2017 Update you have on your machine - that may be the reason of the issue.

Please download the latest version - v2018.1.18310 - at https://submain.com/download/ghostdoc/community

If you are still experiencing the problem when using the latest version, please send us the Log file to the email in the post above.

Thanks!
